North Norfolk Railway (the Poppy Line) runs from Holt to Sheringham, stopping at Weybourne and (by request) Kelling Heath. With original steam and diesel engines, and early 20th century rolling stock, this lovely service can whisk you back in time to days gone by.

Stop at Weybourne for a chat with the signalman, see the points being operated and even have a picnic on the platform or stop for a cup of tea in the cafe.

Every September, there’s the notable “1940s weekend” – when the whole of Holt seems to return to just after the war.

North Norfolk’s steam railway is definitely not to be missed!
